Shelly’s Heart to Serve

Shelly has been a faithful and dedicated volunteer with Harbour Hope since 2022, and her impact has been felt across so many areas of our organization.

From the very beginning, Shelly has served with a heart of generosity and a deep commitment to furthering Harbour Hope’s mission. She is the kind of volunteer who consistently goes above and beyond, never simply doing what is asked, but always finding ways to contribute more and strengthen the work happening around her.

Shelly has played a significant role in many of our events over the years. She has volunteered her time at our annual golf tournaments, helping ensure things run smoothly while bringing her same energy and dedication to every detail. She has also been instrumental in supporting our fundraising efforts by going door-to-door, building relationships with local businesses, and gathering items for raffles and auctions. Her work has been especially impactful for our Hope Galas, where she helped secure auction items that contributed to the success of these important fundraising events.

Shelly has continued to show up for Harbour Hope through other initiatives, including LoveOne and Fight4Freedom. Her willingness to engage across multiple areas of the organization reflects not only her consistency but her genuine belief in the mission and desire to see survivors experience hope, healing, and restoration.

Shelly is someone our team can always count on. No matter the task, she approaches it with enthusiasm, reliability, and a willingness to go the extra mile. Whether helping behind the scenes, gathering community support, or serving at major events, she brings joy and care to everything she touches.

She serves with warmth, humility, and a genuine heart for others that makes a lasting impact on everyone around her. Her daughter has also stepped in to help when she can, making their support of Harbour Hope a meaningful family effort.

Volunteers like Shelly are such an important part of what makes Harbour Hope possible. Her faithful service helps create the resources, relationships, and opportunities that allow us to walk alongside survivors with compassion and consistency.

We are incredibly grateful for Shelly, for the time and energy she has poured into this mission and for the countless ways she continues to move the work of Harbour Hope forward. Her service is a beautiful reflection of what it means to be the hope that heals.
