The Survivor Care Program offers advocacy to survivors of human trafficking who have been referred to our agency and case management services to active HHI program participants. We provide:
Advocacy: Stabilization, court advocacy, criminal record expungement, and credit repair.
Case Management: Weekly, Bi-Weekly, or Monthly meetings with a professional case manager are organized to identify and assist in supporting the immediate, basic needs, as well as for processing, feedback, and coaching on important decisions.
Personalized Case Plans: Case plans include safety planning, physical wellness routines, emotional and mental health development, goal setting and achieving and accountability of substance abuse recovery/sobriety maintenance.
Community Support: This varies from client to client. The goal is to connect clients with support outside of what is offered by Harbour Hope.
Collaboration: One of Harbour Hope’s values is community, which to us includes collaboration. We understand that collaborative partnership is how we will accomplish our greater vision to see an end to human trafficking in our community. Our collaborative partners are like-minded organizations who are also dedicated to supporting survivors of human trafficking.
Organizations make referrals to Harbour Hope, with an understanding that Harbour Hope will facilitate, coordinate, track, and maintain programs and services for individual survivors. There is no cost to survivors or referring agencies for our services.
Survivors are empowered to maintain independent, healthy, and full lives for themselves and their families as evidenced by their responses and choices during adversity and their ability to self-regulate.
Survivors become overcomers who thrive in their communities and break the cycle of addiction, abuse, and exploitation for future generations, ending human trafficking.
